The Kitchen & Studio
I have a private studio just north of Charlotte, NC which allows almost all my clients to be remote. This is where I have those zen moments, spending an entire day poring over cookbooks, pulling props and surfaces for a shoot and putting the shot lists together. Those quiet days just before we shoot are where it all comes together inside this space. There is plenty of elbow room, a private office so that if you are on set you can work while I am moving crumbs from one side of a frame to another for an hour. Plus I can keep you fully energized with espressos, cappuccinos and americanos! I do not cut corners on what matters most ... Coffee beans.

Photography & Styling
You could say I have a "problem" and I won't take offense. I can't go into a thrift store or antique store without spending at least $300 on props that I justify needing 'some day'. And the equipment sickness is just as bad. It's a running joke that with every new shoot I require a "new toy" and it seldom fails!
But I want every shot to look its best and be customized to what you need. Same day Amazon delivery has saved us several times, I don't want to tell you how many different crepe pans I actually own now.
I am committed to bringing your vision to life and I will move mountains to make that happen for you.

Editing
Since I started shooting I have never liked Photoshop. It was just never something I wanted to have to rely on. I use Capture One and move into LightRoom if I absolutely have to in post. But I believe it should all be done on set and that makes life so much easier.
I hand edit every photo, I do not use AI editors. And when there are those times that a photo requires some advanced, extra love from Photoshop I have a trusted private editor I've worked with for years. I would rather send one photo out to get you what you need versus not taking the time on set and falling back on "I'll fix it in post".​​​​

A four day production staffed the usual way includes three to four artists, billing separately, with your vision getting thinned out at every handoff.
